I am having a similar issue with my R6250. Whenn I try and open it I get a "Netgear Genie has stopped working" it goes out in windows and looks for a solution. Comes back with a no solution availablle. I have uninstalled and re-installed twice with no success......HELP

Are you encountering the issue on a Windows 10 device? If so, you may use the download link below for the previous version (2.4.12) of the NETGEAR Genie program.

Good Evening;
I am also having issues with Genie and Windows 10. I get the message that an error has occured. Reloading does NOT help. Genie seems to work just fine on Windows 7 machines and on my iPad. Just my Windows 10 laptop seems to be in trouble. Does this mean that the current version of Genie is NOT compatible with Windows 10 and that I need to roll back to the previous version of Genie?
