    Hi amorequorum23,

This is possibly an issue with the page not redirecting to the correct link. This has already been reported. You may download the app from the product page through http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/.Just type the device model number and select it under the drop down. Under Firmware/Software, select "More results..." then select NETGEAR Genie App (Mac). You may also use the download link below.

      DexterJB,

I recently purchased and setup the D7000 modem router.  In the modem router's setup page I clicked on the Parental Control button, which took me to a website to download the Genie App for Mac.  I downloaded and installed (several times – deleting each time) on two Mac computers, one running Yosemite 10.10.4 and the second one running El Capitan 11.11.1 each time the app indicated successful installation, but when I click on the app the desktop wallpaper changes to the default and I get the following message: You can't open the application "NETGEARGenie" because it may be damaged or incomplete.  The app in the 'Applications' folder is named NETGEARGenie and file size is zero bytes.

The file downloaded from the website is named NETGEARGenieInstaller.dmg and is 64.2 MB;  I downloaded the file from the second link in your email (first link gave me 'Page Not Found' message). This file is named NETGEARGinieinstaller_2.4.10.dmg and is also 64.2 MB as with the other file it installed successfully but when running the app I get the same damaged or incomplete message. I did successfully download and install the Genie app on an iphone running iOS 9.1 and was able to setup the OpenDNS, which I can access with the Mac computers.  It would still be nice to be able to use the Genie App on the Mac computers.
