Netgear Genie is blocked by Windows "User Account Control" on computer startup
Does any know how to get Netgear Genie to start up automatically? Now, any for some reason this just recently changed, i have to manually allow Windows "user Account Control" to allow Neatgear Genie to start. I found the follwing note in windows help but I do not know if Netgear has an updated version that doesn't require permission.
"From Windows help says "Run or remove blocked startup programs
If a program that you want to run at startup is being blocked, check the publisher's website to see if there is an updated version of the program available that doesn't require permission or an administrator password to run."
Windows Vista with R7000 Netgear router

I tried genie a few times over the years, in my case I didn't see the benefit and deleted it. I understand they do update it so be sure you're using the latest version.

Thanks searay. I think i did that back in April and it has been working fine since then. Only a coupole weeks ago it start to be blocked by "User Account Control"
When i check PROGRAMS, STARTUP PROGRAMS, It shows that Netgear Genie has "no classification" I think if Netgear would register the program with Microsoft it would not be blocked.
I'l try reinstall again as admin.
