I am trying to install netgear genie on my new laptop with windows 10--keep getting the message "netgear genie has stopped working" .  It seems to download but this message appears immediately after ...

I followed the instructions provided on this post and am still having the same problem. Everytime I start up netgear genie, the program stops working. Did this work for anyone else?

Nevermind, I had not properly extracted the zip files. It works now, thanks.
