Netgear genie pause internet not working

Just installed NGenie app today on ios10.3. Unable to "pause internet" for another iOS device connected to my wifi, using the Network Map. Even though the "Pause internet" toggle is ON.

1. What is the model number and firmware version of your device?

2. Have you tried using another device (Android, another iOS)?

3. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

    1.Model WNDR3400v2
    2. Yes, installed app onto iPad, no luck
    3. Yes, I uninstalled /reinstalled app, no luck
    I also rebooted the router.

      I am having the same issue. The app shows that the selected device is paused, but in reallity it is not.

       I have also completed all the suggested tasks.

      IPhone OS 10.3.3

      Model # WNDR4500v2

      firmware version V1.0.0.60

      genie Version 3.1.28

        I assume the router is being used in router most and no ap mode ?

        I have noticed that when i use the Orbi in AP mode pause stops working.
