Netgear genie support for Ulta Book resolution 3200 x 1800

I have a Samsung Ultra book with screen resolution of 3200 x  1800. The Genie app is so small on the screen it is unusable. I have reset to lower resolutions with no results.   Is there a work arou...

Hi kenwark,

 

You can follow the steps below to disable display scaling.

 

1. Right click on the NETGEAR Genie icon on your desktop

2. Select Properties

3. Select the Compatibility tab

4. Check the box for Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

5. Click on Apply then OK

6. Right click on the NETGEAR Genie icon on the system tray and select exit

7. Open the NETGEAR Genie program again

    Thanks for your information, unfortunately that solution did not work. Scaling is now greyed out but it has made no difference to the size of the app on my screen.

     

    i am running Windows 10 on both my desktop and my Ultra book. The app runs fine on my desktop and iPad.

      Hi kenwark,

       

      Have you tried selecting the option to run the program in 640 x 480 screen resolution?

        Yes, I tried 640x480. Genie briefly put it on screen then the app crashed. Even if it hadn't crashed it was much too big to be used.
