We are in the process of investigating the cause of the issue. May I know if you have updated the Windows device from 8.1 to 10?

I agree with the other two posters: as a new pre-installed Windows 10 user version...12 works good. Thank you Dexter!

    Had the same problem, latest verision of Netgear Genie wouldn't work on my new Lenovo destop with Windows 10 installed, uninstalled the new version and installed ver. 2.4.12 and the older version works for me too.
