Netgear NightHawk R7500 x4 GenieAFX.dll error with updated firmware
I keep getting 6 popups on my screen that I have to constantly remove. I reads as follows:
C:\Programfiles\NETGEAR\ReadyShare Vault\GenieAFX.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.
My backup program was working fine until the errors started. I tried to uninstall Netgear Genie and reinstall but it still will not work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you added or updated any of the programs on the computer sounds like a link was changed or removed on the os program Windows has doing updates almost every month.

I have not done any updates. When I posted as updated firmware I meant that I had the lastest update installed. After not being able to get the program working and the need for it I found the Vault program on the Netgear website. I downloaded it and reinstalled and it now works. I found that the link through the router did not direct me to the download I needed. Thanks for the feedback.
