NETGEAR UP 2.0 App released

The NETGEAR Up app makes it easy to set up and personalize your NETGEAR Nighthawk router. With the Up app, you can install your router in few steps - just connect your mobile device to the router network and the app will walk you through the rest. Once the router installation is complete, you can use the intuitive dashboard to manage your router, personalize your WiFi network, set up Circle™ smart parental controls and more. Available on Google Play and App Store.

 

Features include:

• Settings: Manage your router and its WiFi settings.
• Device List: View a list of devices connected to your network.
• Guest WiFi: Create a separate guest network access for friends and family.
• Parental Controls: Enable Circle with Disney smart parental controls on your NETGEAR router. Launch the Circle app from the Up app. Visit netgear.com/circle for a list of supported routers.
• Traffic Meter: View data usage.
• Speed Test: Test the internet speed of your service provider
• Support: Access router information and community forum.

• Nighthawk R9000 with firmware version 1.0.0.44 and above
• Nighthawk R8900 with firmware version 1.0.1.36 and above
• Nighthawk R8000P with firmware version 1.0.1.5 and above
• Nighthawk R7900P with firmware version 1.0.0.44 and above
• Nighthawk R7000P with firmware version 1.0.0.19 and above
• Nighthawk R7000 with firmware version 1.0.5.72 and above
• Nighthawk R6900P with firmware version 1.0.0.46 and above
• Nighthawk R6900 with firmware version 1.0.1.16 and above

 

If your router is not on the current supported router list, you can still use web-based installation wizard to install the router by visiting routerlogin.net from your mobile device or a computer connected to the router.
