Nether Genie and Finder conflict

Downloaded Genie on my Mac. Now finder will not close and the light green genie screen(blank) stays open. Desktop is not available. What to do? Last update on Mac.

1. Yes, it did not work. I can't force quit it, the only option I have is to relauch Finder.
2. Version 14.0
3. Yes, did not work
4. No error message.
