Correct, haven't spotted any changes here, too. The problem (if any) is not with Android Permissions - for these geeks with rooted phones (again, why ever) the Superuser App, a superuser access management tool for rooted Android devices. This App allows to grant or deny root permissions, or set it to ask each time. Why ever, some updated code might try to browse/access the root (/) file system, triggering this App notification.

Michael, Your Android devices are either not rooted or are not using ie. SuperSU or SuperUser App root environment.
