Nighthawk App 2FA Lockout
I am locked out of the Nighthawk App because of the current 2FA settings. I changed my Netgear email a long time ago, and since then my old email address is dead and gone forever, but the Nighthawk App email did not update with the change apparently. My previous phone is now gone forever, but is the only other option for 2FA. Due to these things it is not possible to log in to the Nighthawk App, or the my.neural.com site. I can easily login to the netgear.com website, but there are no 2FA options anywhere in my profile or the settings that are available.
How do I log in the the Nighthawk App? No other threads that I've been able to find here have solved the problem.

Have you tired uninstalling the app, reboot your device, then re-install and log in using your NG email account info?
Be sure your NG account email is current and valid.

I found a workaround to get it fixed:
Open the Nighthawk App and for signing in choose to use a one-time sign in email. For me the email was sent to my updated account email and I could then get into the Nighthawk app and turn off 2FA.
