Nighthawk App Question (R6900v2)
Was fiddling around with the Nighthawk app and went to my traffic meter, but I think it might be a little off. It says "Data transferred (in MB)". Last month's usage hits around 343890.66.
Does this mean I used nearly 344 GB last month? That seems like a whole lot? We stream, but I wouldn't have thought it would be THAT much. According to the "Fountain of all knowledge" (aka Google), the average household uses under 200 GB per month.
I also had the thought that it was also measuring internal network usage (not just internet usage), which would make a little more sense since I do regular backups and stream local media from the USB on the Nighthawk. If local streaming numbers are included in that number, 344 MB seems to be a little more believable.
Anyway, just wanted some professional opinions on this apparent high data transfer.

DexterJB not convinced your interpretation is correct. The data on the App is already shown in MB, and there is no strange "US-style" (sorry!) delimiter for thousands, (E3, E6, E9, ...) - I would have complained. Or do you think that the R6900v2 does return different values (and formats)? Probably yet another App API and router bug?
This is a different router model (R9000) showing 3942.0 MB (3.850 GB) down and 463.97 MB (0.453 GB) up - what is feasible (it's a 4G connected unit somwhere up in the Swiss mountains):
