Just got a an R7000 and am currently running stock firmware - not updated to the firmware released yesterday. I love it in every way except for the nonsensical parental controls. I'm fine with the us...

The problem I have is that my iPhone won't stay logged into the bypass account. I can only occasionally use my wireless to access sites that are restricted for general use. In those cases I have to turn off the wireless access on my phone. This used to work with an older version.

Hi Rickykdean,
I will need the following information for me to provide you with a recommendation:
1. May I know what is the model number of your NETGEAR device?
2. May I know what is the firmware version?
3. What is the iOS version of your iPhone?
4. What is the version of NETGEAR Genie app that you are using?
5. What version of the NETGEAR Genie app worked for you before?
6. How long does it stay connected?

I don't remember, it's been awhile.5. What version of the NETGEAR Genie app worked for you before?
Most of the time I can't get it to work at all. But when I leave the program and come back to it I usually have to reselect the bypass account.6. How long does it stay connected?

Hi Rickykdean,
We will need to properly isolate the issue so that we can identify what is causing you to log back in again using the app.
1. Does it happen on other devices (tablets, computers, other smartphones) as well?
2. Have you tried using another iOS device?
3. Do you have and Android device? If yes, does the issue occur on the Android device?

My wife had an iPhone until recently. I don't remember if it had this problem. I haven't tried to set it up on her new Android phone. She is out of state until Next week. It doesn't give any trouble on the computers I've installed it on. Which have only been Macs.
Sorry, but I can't tell you more than that right now.
