Parental control not working through app.. Phone support expired 10 days ago

Everything was working fine till one day my internet stopped working. My rep had me change all these setting and I kept him on the phone because I wanted to make sure everything was still working properly. Parental Controls wouldn't allow me to log in from the app on any of my devices. My DNS account is active and i can sign in through the web. The rep couldn't help me and didn't have any answers on how to fix it. Told me to call back after 24 hours if it's still not working. Of course I had to travel for work so called as soon as I could. Purchased this router three months ago and my "phone support" expired ten days ago. They are trying to charge me $229 for an extra two years for something that stop working after the first time I called. Anybody have any idea on how i can possibly fix this issue so  my  kids can't access websites that they shouldn't be on. Thanks to Netgear I'm sure my kid's are happy looking up unlimited porn and god knows what else. I know there not but who knows. Thanks so much for the help....

      What model router are you using x4s is not a model number it is a upgraded version of x4 router the model number will be on the bottom on a label with a model number and may be a version number may be since the router is a serials x4s it  is either a r7500v2 or r7800 which have two usb 3 ports and a esata port on the sides.
