Aug 10, 2021Please allow users to clear/reset the SPEEDTEST history in the APP
Hi Is there an option currently to refresh the bulit in SPEEDTEST history? or a way to clear it? Thanks

Looks like its a waiting game for the nighthawk application developers to add it in a future release (most likely not a priorty) since the app has been out for a while - so its seems the orignal question on clearing the SPEEDTEST log history ins't there for iOS or Andriod.
Thanks Again

Aug 10, 2021Thanks for the replies.
FURRYe38 - If I delete the app do I loose all the current custom settings? - I would prefer an option in the app itself to allow history clearing.
michaelkenward - It should be an setting for iOS (using) and Andriod within the app.
Which brings me to another question related to notiifcations, its turned on but if a new device joins the network; I am not receive any push notifications to acknowledge a new device is connected.
Thanks in advance

That's a bit off-track on speed tests.
If you are using iOS, which isn't clear to me, I have no idea about "push notifications". Maybe it is to do with Armor, or something else I don't use.
I have no idea what "push notifications" are when it comes to the mobile app. I associate notifications with the desktop genie.

Notifications are popup messages from various apps about certain events when they happen on phones and pads. Like if a new device connects it may show on the iphone or pad. Nothing to do with clearing speed test history.

Yes. But which "popups" are we talking about? And where did popups suddenly come from? That's the first mention of this creature.
Popups are not "push notifications", which is what Retired_Member referred to. Different beasts altogether.
I have seen no evidence that the Nighthawk apps – if that is what the message refers to – offer any popus for devices joining a network.
I do see popups in the desktop genie, but never in the mobile apps.
All very confusing as it isn't at all clear what we are talking about here.
