Why is a Q our code required for my wireless settings button ??

Yes, that can be one use case scenario. You can also use your own mobile devices that can scan the QR code. It is basically a way to see the wireless settings (WiFI name and WiFi password) of your network.

I still don't understand. I have the mobile genie app on my phone. What would I scan a Q code for? A guest phone?
