QoS table resets itself on Netgear Genie R6250
I've been trying to optimize the network at my parents house... So first I updated the firmware to the latest version, and then I deleted the default QoS table, and added my own applications.
I rebooted the router, and my settings for QoS are gone, and the default table is back (with MSN and a bunch of other stuff we dont need). I tried once again to delete it all, apply, then add my own rules, apply... and with every reboot the router will delete my entries and put back the old default one.
I saw this was an issue back in october 2015 too! I can't believe they haven't fixed this.
How can I fix this? I seriously dont want to reset the entire thing and have to fix all the other settings again...
Hi nyxarchana,
Please make sure you check the box "Enable Upstream QoS (Optimized for Gaming)" then click "Apply" first before deleting or creating any QoS rules.
