R7500v2 won't block some devices

I can't get the router to block a couple of different devices.  I have access control enabled.  I have tried from the web router port on my PC, and from the Genie app.  Genie app give me a message that says "setting failed".

    Hi piwagner,

     

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. What version of the NETGEAR Genie app do you have installed?

    3. Have you tried using another device (smartphone, tablet, another PC)?

    4. Have you tried resetting the router?

    5. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the NETGEAR Genie program?
