Registering a Netgear DDNS

Hi,

 

I'm trying to set up DDNS on my Genie based router - using the NETGEAR service, as outlined here,

But, when I press Register, the web interface goes away, and I have to reboot the router to even be able to log in again - and of course, the registration fails. Anyone else see this? And any suggestions of how to correct it?
