Tried using the NH app to connect my Netgear Extender to my Spectrum wifi modem but it's not working

No matter whether I connect to the Extender or the Modem, it keeps bringing me back to the troubleshoot page on the app and I don't know how to get around it. I can't use WPS either because Spectrum doesn't support it anymore. So is there any way to solve this problem?

Any response to my post is 100% appreciated and thank you!

    Which app is "it"? iOS or Android?

     

    And the modem/router is?

    Manuals are always a good place to start.

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

    Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    Check the section in the manual Connect With Web Browser Setup
    There may also be some helpful videos on what to do.

    You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

    I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

     

    Also you might do better to ask about your extender in the appropriate section of this community.

    Your question is about the device as much as the app. In general experienced users go nowhere near the apps.
