Unable to Connect To Router R7000
Hi Trying to reconnect the Nighthawk from an Apple iPhone and had some success yesterday but I am now unable to connect. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and I know the password I am...

I tried the incredible iPhone Private IP Address following the instructions on the link you posted.
Firmware Version V1.0.11.136_10.2.120
The router connects to a 'modem'.
Used to work many moons ago and did work over the weekend once but since then unable to connect. Have rebooted phone and router several times but no joy.
Router logs show [WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC XXXXXXXX although the correct password is input. Have I missed a setting on the router to allow access?

What is that modem?
It isn't clear to me what you are doing. You said earlier:

What did you do?
What is "the Nighthawk"? The R7000? The iPhone app? The wifi from the R7000?
Have you set up Anywhere Access on the iPhone app?

The router connects to a device where the fibre is connected, it's not part of the problem.
Trying to connect the Nighthawk App to the router but it is not logging in despite using the correct password, the same password I can connect to the router via browser.
I put the password in and it accepted it now it doesn't
I missed the word app.
I can't connect to the router via the Nighthawk app so can't set anything up.

I'm sorry, but that is not convincing enough to rule out this "device". Too many people mistakenly arrive here with that claim.
People aren't likely to be able to help if you don't provide the details requested.
Even the "fibre" word is misleading. Every Internet service has fibre somewhere in the network. The questions where does the fibre end. If it is fibre to your front door, then you may have a different sort of "device" from other types of fibre service. An optical network termination (ONT).
You said earlier that your router connects to a "modem". That is not the term used to describe an ONT.
I can't connect to the router via the Nighthawk app so can't set anything up.You do not need an app to set up a router. If that is what you mean by "anything".
Experienced users prefer to use a wired connection to a PC. The app is a basic and dumbed down way of doing things.

The app is the only way to enable Armor and that is the reason why I am trying to connect to it.
My terminology has not been great, I put my hands up.
Let's start again.
The router connects to the ONT.
I want to connect to the router from the Nighthawk phone app but it is rejecting the password even though it is valid.
Can you offer any advice or help? If you can't then thank you for your time.
