Hi Checkers,
May I know if you are doing it through the NETGEAR Genie desktop app or did you log in to the routers UI through a browser? Have you tried using another computer or device?

I am doing it through the Netgear Genie that I downloaded onto my Mac last night. I have not used another computer because I do not want any of this on my childrens computer. Mine is the main one, and it needs to work off of mine.

Hi Checkers,
It is okay for you to perform the account creation process using another computer or device since it will not treat that computer as the main computer which will have control of everything. This is for us to isolate if the issue is with the computer. Once you have successfully created your OpenDNS account, you may configure everything on your main computer.

I am having exactly the same issue with my ipad app as well as the netgear pc genie software, no matter what 6-20 character password I enter I get "Passwords must be 6-20 characters long" message.
