Will not let me open Netgear Genie

I recently installed a netgear router. I installed the netgear genie, but it will not let me open. It just goes to genie stopped work, looking for solutions and the works. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn't work, i have tried to run it under administrator and that doesn't help either. Just cant seem to get the hang of this windows 10
