    Thanks much for the response.  I bit the bullet and did a factory reset.  For this instant in time, everything is working.  Over the last couple of days it'll work for a few hours then bail.  Fingers cross that it'll remain stable.  I'll try to figure out how to mark this as resolved.  đź™‚

If it says its down in the app, what does it show in the GUI? (through the browsers)

It wouldn't be the first time the app wasn't correct
