WNDR3700v4

I bought my router a year or two ago and when I first connected it I was able to use the Genie App. I hadn't used it in awhile and decided to open it up and troubleshoot because I was having issues with it going out. It immediately said my router version was not compatible any longer. I am a little confused as to how it worked in the first place and now it isn't compatible. Help!
