tl'dr unplug and re-add from scratch via app. finally worked. TWO HOURS OF BS.
well la-di-da in the year 2025 with Netgear CS engineers and all the AI in the world to help deploy code here is the Netgear user experience. I saw a comment this morning that it "was resolved" but gave no explanation (fine). So I logged into iPhone Meural app and could not send linked album (invalid token again. not the "Success" false positive of before). so then I tried via web. and it worked! HOWEVER since I know invalid token needs a reinstall canvas garbage, that's what I did. but then, unintended circumstances, after deleting canvas and resintalling via camera QR code from iPhone and from iPad, when I got to the wifi connect screen, the screen was frozen and would not display any local networks or wifi, nor would any part of the screen respond (such as the circular arrows to refresh wifi signals) thus I could now not even add the canvas. I tried web version where you have to manually type in product number and that came back "invalid." infuriating. I was now in a worse position than before! Finally I unplugged canvas for five minute and reinstalled canvas via iPhone camera QR code and somehow the wifi screen populated and I connected canvas to network. All my linked albums were still in the account (but I could see the samplers being reuploaded and also my own linked album when I tried sending first one) so it was looking good....AND IT WORKED! Tried sending multiple linked albums and it worked.
I have already ordered SD cards from Amazon SDHC U1 Class 10 32GB (more than enough) and am never going through this garbage UI again and telling everyone not to purchase Netgear. This is a "view pictures" web app it should be child's play this is thirty years' old tech and code. Shame on them.

Ditto! But as Terriblemeural says, I'm also ordering SD cards from Amazon. I use my three Meural Canvas frames for work purposes and it's beyond frustrating to not be able to rely on these expensive devices to works as they should.

Yup - Mine is now working also! Thanks everyone for pushing Netgear to finally "fix" the issue. Hope it lasts.
Now for a new question: I put a bunch of images on my SD card and can't figure out how to switch between the online loaded images and the SD card images. First world problems 🙂
