I assume that your "go" means "Gb". I am not sure why you are out of space. Most users do not use the space correctly. I have a 32 GB Sd card that I put directly into the Mural. I have ~900 photos on the SD card. These photos come from a high end 45 megapixels camera. I export the photos from RAW into jpg. The "secret" in not using up too much space, is to make sure you size your photos at 1920x1080. This will result in photos UNDER 1Mb each. In general my original photos was 6016x4016 and about 19Mb. The resolution of the Meural panel is ONLY 1920x1080, so loading a photo with higher resolution does NOT give you a better display, so you just waste space.
This means that the 2Gb you can use online should give you space for 2-4,000 photos.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Could you explain how to convert existing JPEG files of various higher resolutions to 1920x1080, please?
Also, do you have any issues with your file naming (character restriction, length restriction, etc.), that you can see on your Canvas (using gesture Hand Moving Up at the motion sensor) as descriptions of your photos?
Thank you!

I do not know what platform you use, but here are 2 links that should help.
https://ca.indeed.com/career-advice/career-development/how-to-reduce-the-size-of-jpeg.
https://shortpixel.com/blog/compress-jpeg-images-without-losing-quality/
There are 2 things that you can do to save space.
1. Change the resolution (ie. resize, change dimensions) to be no more than the resolution of the screen that you are displaying the photo on. This will have NO impact on the quality of the photo that you see. You will however see a difference if you are on a computer & you "zoom in" (make a small part, full screen) on the photo.
2. Change the JPG compression. You can also use a photo editor to change the compression level of the photo. Usually JPG compression level is listed from 1-10 or 10% - 100%. With 100% being no compression & lower numbers being very compressed. You can test out various levels and see if you notice any difference. I have found that usually 70% will save you quite a bit of space, but have almost no noticeable change in picture quality, even if you zoom in and "pixel peep". On the Mural you will not see any difference if you change your photo to a 70% compression and dimension of 1920 x 1080.
As to your question on the file naming, I have not noticed any issues on naming files, but it would not surprise me if there were some. The software was VERY poorly tested and has many bugs that have NEVER been fixed and show that the people that programmed some parts of the software, were inexperienced and/or lax in their testing.
One VERY annoying bug, (that I have unsuccessfully been trying to get Netgear to fix), is that after 5-10 photos, the display will just start repeating and not go on the next photo. This varies depending on file name, number of photos and how long they are to be displayed. I also happens (more often) if you select "image shuffle". But Good luck in getting Netgear to fix it. There has not been any software update in about 2 years. Netgear should be embarrassed that their programmers cannot properly code a sequential file read.
As to using the "hand gesture" features, they do work (sort of), but I usually use the App on my cell phone. It is much easier to use and there are more features. It was a REALLY stupid decision waste time to program in the "hand gesture" features, which duplicate (a small subset) of the App features, are more complex, and leave MAJOR bugs in the App software. 3 years ago I had contact with the VP in charge of Mural. She promised me they would fix it is several months. Obviously , that never happened.
If anyone has a contact (e-mail, phone number etc) at Netgear or Mural I would really appreciate the information.
Thanks, Joe
