Canvas Randomly Goes Offline
My Meural Canvas II keeps going off line. It seems to ne at random times. Sometimes it will stay connected for days. I’ve when I check the menu I just show “Loading…” where it should report my wifi. ...
No, it's still randomly going offline. I can see that the Canvas tries to periodically restart its wifi service while it is off line but it never reconnects without manual WPS intervention. I have a Home Assistant automation to notify me when it goes offline but I haven't been able to see any pattern to it.
Brand and model# of wifi router that the Canvas is connected too?
Its a Bell Giga Hub 2.0.
Does the canvas connect at 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz?
Might ask the ISP or the Mfr if this Hub/router about changing wifi channels or if the SSID name can change to be separate.
Try channesl 1 and 40 or 11 and 48.
Check to see if there maybe neghboring WiFi neighbors that could be causing some interferences.
Right now it is connected to 5 GHz. I found out you can split the 2.4 and 5.0 SSID names but I would have to resetup my other devices with the new names with the new names.
Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like I can adjust the channel used.I don’t know how I would check for interferences.
