So I came home excited because the chat moderator told me it was fixed. It’s not fixed. I even tried on an android phone and the app will not connect, says offline even tho it has full WiFi signal connected to my network

I use mine for events. Had our IT department send a tech to the office to check out the wifi to make sure all was in order. Yup. Tried connecting to our three different wifi networks, plus hotspotting off his phone. All wifi networks are strong (and other devices connect without issue).
The devices worked fine on September 20. Not on September 21. What did Netgear do that day to change things?

Hi Karen,
I feel your pain, now you have three bricked devices, that’s a shame that Netgear doesn’t let their users know about the problem. It’s not a single person complaining, it’s multiple users with the same exact issue.
At this point I have my Meural unplugged until I hear of a solution.
How can the Meural shows connectivity to my wi-if network, full bars, obviously connected to Netgear network and unable to pair with the app?
I keep on trying the reset, tried on another network as well, another phone, even tried an android phone and still the same problem.Should we bring this issue to a consumer protection branch? We could ask for compensation at this point. Collect signatures, do something. We can’t accept this.

I've got a couple more weeks before my next event, but I need at least one working by the week of October 21.
It's not like these are inexpensive items. And I'm loathe to call for support as (at least the last time I had to call for help) they force you to buy a subscription for support before they will talk to you! 😠 If there's no solution, why should I pay extra just to hear that? ARG.
