Dark area appeared on meural canvas screen
Over the last few weeks a dark area has started to appear on the top left area of my meural canvas screen (see photo below). Has anyone in the community had this problem before and know of a solution...

Hi There,
Regarding the problem that I had, I spoke to Netgear support and was told the following:
- The items were 2 months outside the warranty period and did not qualify for replacement.
- The items could not be repaired.
Hence I regard my items a write off costing me £1,500. So in conclusion, If your canvas is in warranty it should be replaced, if not bad luck its useless!
I have also found Netgear support to be totally useless and they don't even care!
If you know of anything different to this then please let me know and I will provide the details that you have requested.

- Jo90Jan 12, 2023TutorSo, after getting in touch with Kevin, I was contacted by Netgear Support, and we went through the usual troubleshooting steps.
Not surprisingly, this didn’t make any difference to the appearance of the dark spots on the screen. We then ascertained that my unit was out of warranty and also in the wrong country of purchase (I shipped the unit from the US where they are cheaper than they are here in Aus), so I thought that was that.
To my great surprise, I was then contacted again to say that my unit would be replaced! So I returned the unit to the local Australian Depot, and have received a brand-new retail unit almost immediately. This unit was hung last night and I am stoked.
So kudos to Netgear, for stepping in, helping out, and surpassing my expectations. They had no legal requirement to do so yet they did. Amazing service. Thank you so much!- plemansJan 12, 2023Guru - Experienced User
