Help: Meural Canvas 2 already registered (Christmas Gift)

Hello, 

 

I’m reaching out for some help with a  Meural Canvas 2 (stated as new opened box) I recently purchased through eBay.


​I bought this as a Christmas gift for my family and wanted to get it set up and tested beforehand to ensure everything was perfect for the big day. However, during the setup process, I hit a wall: the app tells me the device is already registered to another user.

 

The seller doesn't know the previous owner and is unable to contact him. I have the eBay receipt and serial number.

 

 

Could a moderator please help me clear this registration so I can have it ready for Christmas morning?

    Hello,

     

    I have exactly the same issue.

    I tried to reach the netgear support via email, they formelly register the product to my account, but I'm not still able to add it to the app or via web site. 

    I receive always the same message of the product already registered.

     

    My case number is 49392952 .

     

     

    Please please please help me, I'm deseperate right now, I just bought an unasable device.
