I have done that several times. It tries to load the update, but then I get a message the update failed.
I have done hard resets as well. It still doesn't accept the update.

Can someone please help.
I always lost connectivity with the canvas, always did the hard reset and it always worked. This time, the app will not SYNCH with canvas, and on the computer it says canvas is offline, but it does show las time synch as the reset date.
I spend the entire afternoon, multiple resets no luck.
Is there a way to do anything via cable? What can I do? How can I turn it back to online, It even says it's connected to my network and signal is very strong.
Netgear, please help. Everyone complains about the quality of your customer service but I have hope.

I have exactly the same problem. Have you resolved this? I have 2 canvasses - an older one and a newer one. The app still connects to the newer canvas but has stopped connecting to the older one. Both are online with strong wifi signal. Help!
