Meural Canvas II MC327 issues connecting to wifi
As stated above, I have a Meural Canvas II MC327. It simply does not connect to wifi. Within the app it just shows "Offline" or that I need to restart WiFi. It's been a while since I've had this d...

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried your process multiple times. The error message I get now after hitting "Continue" is that it tells me my Canvas is offline and I need to restart the WiFi service. I follow the steps to restart the service on my canvas and try again, unfortunately, I'm not sure what I can do at this point. I've already done a hard reset on the canvas itself so I've lost whatever collections I put together.
Would still like further assistance because this hasn't been solved. Thank you.

Hello oguser,
Thank you for your post!
When you get the error message that your canvas is offline, navigate to your Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. Then connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi network that you connected to your Meural Canvas. Now, navigate back to your app and press continue.

Hey KevinLiT
Thanks for the response. It still didn't remedy the situation. I've tried it multiple times. It tries to sync and then it just tells me it's offline.
Feels like an endless cycle of restarting the wifi, removing the canvas, adding the canvas back on, trying to get the wifi to work again. It's a bit frustrating as I don't know what else to do after following your instructions.
I've also done a hard reset on the canvas. Still nothing.- KevinLiTOct 11, 2022NETGEAR Moderator

I am having the same problem.
I did however set the canvas up on the home wi-fi and now I have taken it to work.
Do I need to setup the wi-fi on the actual canvas again so i can connect to my phone and if so how do I do that?
The gesture prompts are also so frustrating, as it rarely picked up my hand movements đ

Hello TheDart,
I understand that you would like to change the wireless network for your Meural Canvas. Please see below for a step-by-step guide on how to change your Meural Canvas wireless network.
Changing wireless network for the Meural Canvas:
- Plug in and turn on your Meural Canvas.
- Wave down to display the menu.
- Select WiFi > Clear all connections.
- Wave down to display the menu.
- Select More > Walkthrough.
- Launch the Meural app.
- Tap the Canvas icon at the bottom left of the screen.
- If you own more than one Canvas, tap Canvases at the top left of the screen and select your Canvas.
- Tap Connect Canvas at the center of the screen.
- Tap GET STARTED.
- Scan the QR code at the bottom left of your Canvas.
- Select your desired WiFi network and enter your WiFi password

Hello TheDart,
Here's my suggestions that may help you with your issue ("The gesture prompts are also so frustrating, as it rarely picked up my hand movements" ).
1. Place your hand near the middle point of the Canvas' frame, as close as 1" to 2".
2. Make swiping gestures (up, down, left and right) same manner as you paint with a brush, with your fingers moving like the tip of brush moves, and
your palm facing left, right, up, and down correspondingly to swipe left, right, up, down.
Keep your hand in place, don't move your arm. Just ROTATE smoothly your hand ONLY around your wrist.
3. Move your hand as slow as about 1 sec, make a pause of about 1 sec before another move.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
