Meural Canvas Server Status Offline

After weeks of "Server Status Offline" I finally decided to figure out what's going on and here's what I know: 

  1. Netgear has known about this for quite some time.
  2. After, resetting my canvas, reconnecting wi-fi, reinstalling my  phone app, and changing my password I finally call the support line...big waste of time.  Even though Netgear knew about this problem, the support rep. didn't mention a word about others having this same issue. 
  3. After spending 45 minute on the phone with Netgear's support rep., getting a sales pitch on buying an extended waranty, the rep. basic said the only thing she could do was send me troubleshooting instruction...non of which applied to my problem
  4. After finally searching the Community Blog, I came across  69 posts with people experiencing the same problem.  The last Post was from Netgear and stated the following:

We are aware of the issue with the Meural server that is causing the Canvas I and Canvas II to appear offline on the Meural app and my.meural.com. Our Engineering team is diligently toward a solution to resolve this issue.
