Meural Photo Display & Storage Advice Please - NAS / RJ45
Good morning all. Reading about Meural with a view to buy a couple but could use some user advice and experience please in answering a few questions. Connect to NAS - think the Meural has an RJ4...

Yes, the ethernet port is used for connection via a home wired network.
However, the Meural Canvas is compatible with a micro SD card with up to 512GB of capacity.

Not to sound rude but your answers are very closed and miss a lot of my questioning out. It results in a lot of follow up which causes me extra questions and you extra work. Can you see my reasoning looking back through the dialog? I was sort of hoping for support in a more dialog based format rather than just selected closed questions. I'm trying to build confidence and knowledge to invest in two of these expensive devices and continue my considerable investment with Netgear.
So good that RJ45 works and will connect to my Netgear network. And I will be able to see the device via my Orbi RBS853 router and windows network?
But no reply to my comment about reported poor functionality of the gesture facility. Any updates or advice to improve/ maximise performance?
On the storage side, is it limited purely to SD card? USB or SSD are not options in any form?
And the SD card limit of 512GB ... is that a tested maximum or just a theoretical maximum? I ask as many times such limits are quoted, it is often possible to go higher but may just not have been tested.

Yes, you will be able to see your Meural Canvas II via your Orbi/windows network.
The gesture function on the Meural Canvas II is intuitive and has not been an issue for customers on our latest firmware.
The only storage option to increase the Meural Canvas II physical storage is by using a Micro SD card.
The Micro SD compatibility has a tested maximum limit of 512GB with the Meural Canvas II.

Ok so it could be the case that a larger SD device might work, but it's not guaranteed to do so. would that be correct?
Also I read an article (in the same spirit) that the device has worked with a PoE RJ45 device but that this not recommended by Netgear and would void warranty. Is that also correct to say? Fully understand that this is not recommended but curious to know if the article is correct in it's explanation ........
