Meural screen black

My meural has been working more or less flawlessly for years, and for the first time in well over a year I added some more photos to the library to be displayed, which worked okay, then a day or so later, the Meural just had a black screen, and now doesn't boot up or respond at all

Not sure what I can do to troubleshoot this. I tried the factory reset, but still just a blank screen on power up.

According to the app the software version was 2.3.2_2.0.12
