My uploaded pictures are missing from the app and the website

I have an original 27 inch meural that i use only for showing my own pictures (photography hobby). i had over 600 pictures uploaded and running a playlist with about 525 pictures.  sometime over the past 6 weeks, all of my uploaded pictures except 9 are now missing from the app and the website when i login.   the canvas is still playing a portion of them, but i can no longer edit the list or upload more and the app is not connected to the canvas.  i have resterted both and the internet is stable.  i am afraid to re-link the app tot he canvas since now all the pictures are not on the app!  

the goal: 1. restore all the pictures that i have uploaded over many years and are no longer available easily (ie, get them restored on the meural server not re-upload) and 2. re-link the canvas to my app. 

i see nothing online about this problem but it is really bad for me!!  please help!1
