Prominent Dark Area /Screen Burn

Hello, I just returned from vacation to discover my Meural has a dark area right down through the middle of the screen.  I assume this is screen burn that others have described in this forum.  It looks awful. I have invested in the wall mount but this makes my images and 3rd party images look terrible. I do tech reviews and have a YouTube channel and blogs where I have recommended the Meural Canvas many times.  

Even though it is out of warranty I am hoping Netgear will do the right thing.

Please someone get back to me as soon as possible as I would like a replacement.  This is completely unacceptable shelf life for such an expensive luxury item,
