unable to download images or update software version to my canvas model MC227

I uploaded an image on 11/30/2024 to my frame, MC227.  When I tried to send a new image last month, I was unable to upload it.  At that time I was able to send a picture for preview, delete old images from the frame, everything but upload new images.  The canvas showed that I was online.

I was advised to do a factory reset, by customer support at Meural.  Since then, I have lost all control of the canvas via the app or website.  The canvas says I am online, my internet provider is able to see that the frame is online, but neither the app nor the web site says it is not online.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app to my adroid phone.  It did not help.

My current software version is 2.08.  I know 2.09 is available, but since I cannot communicate with the canvas, I have no way to update.  Is it possible to update via the sd card?  Or is there any other way to regain control of the canvas?

Does anyone have any suggestions?
