AX3600 MK83 - CAN I CHANGE THE SSID ON SATELLITE?

Once you figured out from my incoherent ramblings, what I actually needed, you sent me this link: MR80 / MS80 Firmware Version 1.1.7.14 - NETGEAR Support
This was a site not visible to me at the online support. It was easier then.
The Zip files were the same: MR80-V1.1.7.14_3.1.109.zip and MS80-V1.1.7.14_3.1.109.zip I had but there was more information at: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/MK83.aspx#docs, where I could select the topic Troubleshooting and find at the top of page 2: the article labeled NETGEAR Connected Home Products FAQ. Now once in here I then found WiFi Routers and in the pull down menu found: How do I update the firmware on my NETGEAR router with a web browser?. This is where things began to click, and I could swear a new upload button appeared at the bottom! I know it didn’t, but I sure missed it 12 or 20 times.
Everything is up and working wonderfully including a guest account, wired units and wireless. We have optimum 500 Mbps / 20Mbps and Ookla is testing at 506 to 517 down and 20 plus up. I am verry happy. Thank you.
Now, were do I go to rate you 5 stars?
Try factory resetting it and re-syncing it (the satellite)
Yes, I tried but still does not recognize the ms with a different ssid. I can see it as a seperate wifi on devices in the house but not in the routers software.

Yes that was my post also. Firmqare wont update to 14. Says it is inncorrect for ms80 as i tried as instructed to upload that first.

I know. That's why I suggested fixing the firmware.
Are you sure you have the right firmware ans the right modem number?
As this is a second-hand eBay purchase, I'd be careful to look at those details. You never know what the seller put in the box.
Did the firmware work on the other MS80?
