connect 2 routers

I have 2 MR60 nighthawk routers (each has 2 Satellites but only need 3 of the 4).

Reason for 2 routers is I have one as the main router beside my modem. 2nd router sits by TV in main living room which has the xbox plugged into that. Was working great until 3 days ago and I have been rebooting/resetting all the routers and Sats, Alexa, Smartthing, etc.

Just got the main router backup, basicallly it made me install it like it was brand new out of the box. Main router has cable to modem in port 1 and cable to the switch in port 2. Switch has multiple devices one of which was the 2nd router. Even with the main router back up I think the 2nd router is stuck in bridge mode or setup mode. On my phone I can see an open network available called Netgear Setup and the router is steady blinking a white light. I have rebooted, factory reset, etc but it just keeps blinking white.

1. Can I get this thing to totally reset and start over?

 2. If i try that open netgear wifi it wants the router info but then says something is wrong

 3. Previously I was great with just having it piggy back off the main router and Wifi was great all over the house and my xbox went from 80-123 downloads to 400-650 download speeds.

I will take the easiest route (not having to take down the main router to plug in the 2nd) even if it doesnt make things perfect. Same as before would be golden.
