DNS passthrough on nighthawk wifi 6 (MR60)
Hi !
I have recently installed a DNS server (kinda) nammed Ad Guard (functions exactly like Pi Hole). I just have the problem that my Nighthawk Wifi 6 Mesh system which I use as a router provides to all my devices 192.168.1.1 as the DNS ip and not 192.168.1.42 as I'd have wanted to. I think every dns request is being processed by the router before being answered to my local DNS server. Not only is it a big issue for privacy concerns but I don't know which device asks what request.
As you can see (sorry for the french), my ad guard only detects 192.168.1.1 (my router's ip) and 127.0.0.1 (localhost (my raspberry pi)). I remember not having this issue when using Pi Hole with my Internet provider's router (with 192.168.1.42 and 0.0.0.0 as DNS adresses).
I also don't wan't (and can't) set up every devices in my network to the right DNS.
By the way, my phone shows 192.168.1.1 as its DNS
