FW update for MS60 Satellite

Firmware update to my MS60 satillite bricked the satillite to where it no longer works. Tried connecting via all methods, i.e., ethernet, USB to TTL, etc, but satillite is stilll un accessible. Issue occured 1 month outside of 1 year warrentty and only occurred during FW update. Will never update FW outside of warrenty due to support no longer being offered due to the FW updates bricking devices. I would recommend only doing FW updates while under warrenty, otherwise it requires advanced HW knowledged by the individual to resovle the issue. Will not purchase Netgear products in the future due to lack of support due to FW updates that they mandate upon all consumers without providing support to what they require consumers to adopt. Very disappointed in their customer service regarding forced updates and a lack of concern for how it impacts customers. With current replies, will never use again due to lack of care for customer issue response.

Try this to see if this works:

Manual MS FW update after MR was updated:
You need to update the MS before updating the MR. Keep this in mind for future updates.

What you need to do is factory reset the MS. Wire connect a PC to the 1st satellite📡. Already have the most current FW version files downloaded on to this PC.

Wire connect 1 PC to the back of the MS. Factory reset the MS, wait about 5 minutes. The PC will get a IP address from the satellite📡. The MS will be 192.168.1.250. Use this IP address in a web browser to log in to the satellites web page. Log in as admin and password. Use the satellites 📡 web page FW update feature to select the FW update file that was unpacked from the .zip file. Then factory reset and then re-sync the MS 📡 to the MR.

Unfortunately that method didn't work either. That was one of the first methods I tried for resolving the issue. The satelite would never boot to where it can be accessed. Did multiple factory resets, power cycles and reboots. After attempting other methods, I then tried to manually flash the FW via USB to TTL. That doesn't work either. The FW update was applied automatically, so I had no control over how it was applied and in what order it was done.

Seems that the MS is bad and needs to be replaced.
