How to configure EasyMesh devices to work with NightHawk mesh router
I see that the NightHawk Mesh routers support EasyMesh. How do you add an EasyMesh device to the mesh? I have tried putting the device in pairing mode using the add satellite as though it were a Ni...

might be cheaper to just add another satellite. I think the MS60 and MS80 are both compatible with it.

I am trying to extend my mesh wirelessly. Wired is not an option. I am trying to reach a piece of equipment that is too far for my satellite. I can use the device in repeater mode, but I would prefer a seamless single network with the same SSID to support other devices. The non-Netgear device supports EasyMesh.

What device is it?
Are the satellites sync'd fine?
What error does the other device give you?
did you contact them to see about different methods of setting up? Sometimes wps doesn't work the best.
- jphensleyjrJun 05, 2023AspirantWhat device is it? WavLink AC1200 Dual Band High-Power Outdoor Router / AP / Extender. Works as EasyMesh device.
Are the satellites sync'd fine? All satellites work properly to run the house wifi
What error does the other device give you? No errors, it's just not being found when I go through the add a satellite feature. I think the process is something different for EasyMesh. I can't find how to enable it on the router or how to connect to it.
did you contact them to see about different methods of setting up? Wavlink states contact router vendor for assistance setting up EasyMesh.- plemansJun 05, 2023Guru - Experienced User
Try setting the wavlink up in extender mode using its installation assistant.
it'll have the same performance. I haven't seen much push on Netgear's end for easymesh compliance.
- jphensleyjrJun 05, 2023AspirantI have it working this way. I thought I could avoid the extra SSIDs. I may have to switch router brands to get what I'm looking for. Thanks.
