How to Connect MS60 to MR60 with different SSID
Bought an additional MS60 for my network which has one MS60 currently on it.
The SSID on the new MS60 is not the same as the MR60 router.
The join button on the back of each does not connect the new satellite.
Does anyone have a solution. I am told the MS 60 SSID cannot be changed.
I did see something about changing the router SSID temporarily and connect to the new satellite.
Then change the router back to original.
What happens after a power outage - which occurs here regularly?
Will the router reconnect to the orphan? Probably not.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I'd start with the right section for your device.
Nighthawk Wi-Fi 6 (AX) Mesh Systems - NETGEAR Communities
Did you find the manual?

Hi and thanks for the reply.
The answer is no I did not connect them with cable.
However as I pushed along with various ways to connect I found using my Windows laptop connected to the network got me there.
Under the basic tab there is connect a satellite.
In that I chose the second option of connecting a second satellite.
I placed the second away from the router and other satellites, plug it in wait for amber.
Press sync on the sat then click the sync button on the laptop.
Connected and is still good after several days.
No concern with different SSID
Thanks for your interest.
