iamck I'm curious what the support solution was....
Christian_R How can it be that Netgear is apparently unable to change and officially allow a router->satellite config considering satellite units are not available in the market, too?

So Netgears response was pathetic.
I have never EVER received such crap customer service from a huge company than I have with Netgear.
They sent me generic “what OS are you using, what is your IP, what colour is your LED” while completely ignoring the question of “can this be made into a satellite”
When I responded saying how ridiculous I thought their scripted responses were and that all I wanted was an answer of was it possible and if so how they then closed the ticket and stopped replying.
This should be an easy answer and an easy fix considering they should be allowed to put a router into access point mode.
I will not be buying another Netgear product.

The problem is that Support can't provide an answer because there isn't one in any script. Beyond, basic product and network knowledge is below zero in first line "support".

Not difficult to understand why the Netgear CBU customers are disappointed. Christian_R would you please politely carry this forward to the people in charge?
- iamckJan 03, 2021GuideCompletely agree.
I’ve never come across a more unhelpful customer service team in my life ( and I work in IT, I’ve dealt with the worst)

I WAS JUST HUNG UP ON BY THEIR INCREDIBLY SLOW MORON SERVICE REP. Have you had any luck?
- iamckJan 25, 2021GuideNo. They are useless. They hung up on me three times

I am looking for same for a 2nd MR60.
The cost of the additional satellites is rediculously high. Such that buyuing the current 3 pack (MR60/(2) MS60) at Costco is more effective.
While I would rather not have the 2nd MR60 as a paperweight, I know the (2) MS60s will add nicely to coverage.
Additionally, while I have great coverage in most of the house with the existing 3 pack, I have two needs where I am using the existing satellites as remote ethernet for target devices. The result is having the first two satellites from kit one in locations that do not provide the coverage desired. That's why I am grabbing kit two at Costco.
The goal with at least another MS60 (or two) is substantial coverage for home and property.
Am wondering if there is an issue with overlapping coverage?
