They quoted me various packages up to $799.00 for a lifetime "family" package to cover all current and new equipment forever. This seemed "phishy" to me so I hung up.
Definitely phishy, since Netgear support doesn't offer that. How did you reach them? Googling for a support phone number often will lead to a scammer.
Was the phone number in the app. Very strange.
