Internet keeps dropped - always fixed by rebooting the Main Unti
I have read other threads on this subject and have not been able to find a resolution to my issue. The short version is that every few days (3-4, seems random) my Nighthawk MR60 will drop the interne...

Ok so something is happening between the Cable modem and the MR. If the front LED is turning AMBER or RED, means the MR isn't getting a good connection to the ONT.
Seems that you have a cable modem that may have a built in router and wifi.
This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. https://kb.netgear.com/25891/DMZ-on-NETGEAR-routers

3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the NG router to the modem, LAN to LAN configure AP mode on the NG router.

Try option #2 first...
Sorry about RBS, I meant to change that to MS.
Might try channel 1 or 11 on 2.4Ghz

I sincerely appreciate your suggestions, but my Modem is not also a router, it is just a cable modem, the following is from a listing for the Sercomm DM1000:
The DM1000 is a CableLabs DOCSIS 3.1 certified cable modem with an integrated 2.5Gbps Ethernet port to provide 1Gbps+ broadband speeds to the home or office. This powerful cable modem has a compact, sleek design that fits into the customer’s home décor and delivers the low latency and high bandwidth needed for work, school, and play. WiFi and DOCSIS technologies are evolving at different speeds. The DM1000 enables a modular whole-home broadband approach as it can be combined with your choice of WiFi and router products. This modular strategy uses a simple, reliable broadband device that is relevant across multiple WiFi upgrades and gives you the flexibility to pair with onpremise connectivity products that best fit your customer deployments. The DM1000 supports standard provisioning and upgrades via SNMP. The DM1000 offers premium DOCSIS 3.1 broadband access that can be paired with the latest WiFi and router technology to offer high-performance connectivity for both the home and office.
I used to have a Hitron Modem/Router but my ISP provided me a Modem only about a year ago.
With that, I can't really perform any admin on the Modem itself (I am not even sure how I access an admin page., but I suppose I could plug an ethernet cable to it directly.
I can change the channel for my 2.4 network.

OK thanks for that information and checking. I wasn't too sure about that modem.
I'd have the ISP check the signal and any cable modem events up to the modem to be sure nothing is happening there.
For NG modems we have users post this information:
https://kb.netgear.com/30007/How-do-I-obtain-the-cable-connection-information-from-a-NETGEAR-cable-modem-modem-router
https://kb.netgear.com/30008/How-do-I-view-or-clear-the-event-logs-on-my-NETGEAR-cable-modem-or-modem-router
Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem. Not sure if any of that applies to your modem brand however would be something to ask the ISP about and make sure the modem and signal on the cable line up to the modem is in good working order and in specs.

Thanks for the suggestion. I got on the phone with my ISP (who provided the modem) and they were not seeing any signal issues from their end. I then decided to do a factory reset of my modem, since maybe that was the culprit in my network dropping. It remained stable for a few days, then it dropped again yesterday, so the issue was not resolved...sigh.
Connecting to my modem directly was not easy (hardwire, set a static IP address on my laptop) but I did see some critical errors in the logs, this is an example:
Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out;CM-MAC=3c:62:f0:e5:02:a6;CMTS-MAC=00:17:10:2a:7c:2c;CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.1;
There were a few of these. Would this cause the Router to drop the connection with the modem?
I can also get more information from the router and post here if that would be helpful.
Thanks for your help!
