mesh extender EX6250: using mesh in wired AP mode

Question

They don't function as mesh when running in access point mode.
If you're wanting multiple extenders, I'd look at using the orbi system. Its designed to run with a wireless or wired backhaul, use single ssid function, and roam better. Plus you can add as many satellites as needed.
And you can buy the AC systems cheaper now that AX is being released.

I just checked now, they are all AC3000, so very expensive. a single unit would cost in my country € 300 ($330). I need cheaper mesh extenders. max $ 100-120/unit &nbsp;

the ex6250 isn't an outdoor unit either.And you can run them in AP mode but they won't function as mesh. You'll be able to set them with the same ssid but they'll tend to be "sticky". Meaning they won't roam as easily.&nbsp;Just an fyi.&nbsp;&nbsp;
