mesh extender EX6250: using mesh in wired AP mode

I am planning to buy the mesh extender EX6250, and the question is about the mesh function in access point mode.

I want to set up a couple of these around the external walls of the house and connecting them with a ethernet cable so they became wired access point. can mesh mode still work in this case?

my idea is ... if I leave home, when I reach the garden the device will still remain connected to the same SSID now extended by these two mesh extenders.

network MAP:

Internet----wireless router----switch--|----EX6250

                                                         |

                                                         |-----EX6250.

all these ----- and | are cables.

They don't function as mesh when running in access point mode.
If you're wanting multiple extenders, I'd look at using the orbi system. Its designed to run with a wireless or wired backhaul, use single ssid function, and roam better. Plus you can add as many satellites as needed.
And you can buy the AC systems cheaper now that AX is being released.

I just checked now, they are all AC3000, so very expensive. a single unit would cost in my country € 300 ($330). I need cheaper mesh extenders. max $ 100-120/unit
